Good Afternoon!
I just chatted with Vickie, who is working on putting together the Annual Report.  She has a list of all the reports she needs, and only 4 of them have check marks beside them.  This afternoon, I will write my Annual Report, so she can put a check by my name.  This is a friendly reminder that all committees need to put a year-end report in our congregational annual report.  If your committee hasn't been able to do that yet, the deadline is Wednesday.  We are hoping to have the reports available on Sunday so that members can pick them up and read them before our annual meeting.  This helps us all be prepared as we seek to set a budget for the coming year.  We can always hand out last minute reports at the annual meeting on Jan. 23, but that is kind of a last resort.  We will meet right after worship on Jan. 23 for our annual meeting, followed by our youth Chili Cook Off.  Be sure to plan to stay after the meeting to sample the different chili's made by our youth and to vote for your favorite.  Funds raised will go toward summer camp for our youth.

I would also like to invite innovative people to the Re-Boot Camp Zoom on Thursday at 11:30am.  It is a time to think and dream of opportunities for vital ministry that we might not be doing at this time.  The world and our society is changing, and it is good to evaluate as to whether or not we need to make necessary adjustments.  Bring a lunch - the zoom will be in the fellowship room here at the church.

Zion Lutheran Church has always been an active part of the world community.

From our yearly World Mission Sunday to support of rural ministry,

from Lutheran World Relief to proving a community used furniture room

and supporting the local food bank, Zion is "a church without walls".

Our members recognize the importance of their baptisms and through worship

and regular holy communion, believe God's call to discipleship is a call to faith in action.

We invite you to worship with us.

"All are welcome in this place"
