Good afternoon!
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel regarding the end of my time of isolation.  Yay!  I can now say from experience that I sure miss talking with real people!  Often, when people stop by my office, they apologize for interrupting me.  But I remind them that I am here for people, and all that I do in my office can usually wait a few minutes.  I try not to get so far behind as to need to ignore people's needs in order to get prep work done.  And right now, I am missing those interruptions, where I get to hear what is going on in the lives of the people of Zion.  Ministry is a multi-faceted task and each part is needed - planning, carrying out the plans, meetings, leading worship, etc.  But the most important part, for me, is to get to know the people of Zion and to walk with you as you experience joys, frustrations, challenges and victories.  I hope that we can all minister to each other by walking with each other during the ups and downs of life, knowing that we hold each other carefully in our hearts.  Who might you walk with this week, that needs a companion on their journey?

This coming Sunday is All Saints Sunday.  If you would like us to honor a loved one who has died in the past year during our worship service on Sunday, please let me know.

Zion Lutheran Church has always been an active part of the world community.

From our yearly World Mission Sunday to support of rural ministry,

from Lutheran World Relief to proving a community used furniture room

and supporting the local food bank, Zion is "a church without walls".

Our members recognize the importance of their baptisms and through worship

and regular holy communion, believe God's call to discipleship is a call to faith in action.

We invite you to worship with us.

"All are welcome in this place"
